The Opportunity For Bi-Lingual Contract Psychotherapist:

This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed bi-lingual contract psychotherapist who desires the autonomy and flexibility of independent contractor status within a supportive practice setting. As an independent contractor, you will operate as your own business, allowing you to manage your schedule, caseload, and therapeutic approach.

Key Responsibilities of an Independent Bi-Lingual Contractor Psychotherapist:

  • Provide high-quality individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy to a diverse client population.
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, Play Therapy, etc.) tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and monitor progress.
  • Refer clients to external specialists or agencies when appropriate.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and licensing requirements set forth by the North Carolina Board.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
  • Current and active licensure in the State of North Carolina, at the Associates level or above (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, etc.).
  • Proven experience in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathetic listening skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines.
  • Fluency in Spanish (both verbal and written) is highly preferred to meet the needs of our diverse community.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a private practice effectively.
